ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"Nature's subtle and powerful beauty is what I strive to portray. The world I live in is my focus, and the people and places of my everyday life are my favorite subject. Everything I see presents an opportunity to study how light reveals form which is the essence of my work. Expressive brushwork, thoughtful composition and good drafting skills are guiding principles with every new piece. My work does not have a particular style-it is simply what I see."
